Hard to adequately put into words how today's race went. It was a tough course. We didn't find out til afterwards that it was rated as "expert" level. And this was the first ski race for every last one of our skiers. But you know what? They ALL finished. These people, who do hard things every day, looked an intimidating course in the face and just DID IT - the even harder thing. The sharp turns, steep hills, camber-sloped-into-water trails. They conquered it. It did not conquer them. Today I witnessed the embodiment of POWER and PERSEVERENCE. It was honestly not fun. I think they would all admit to that. But the Noque did not WIN. THEY won. You get all the pictures, because we can all benefit from witnessing super powers at work.
